Happy Belated Birthday To Me!

The Buzz surprised me recently with this belated birthday gift:




Wireless headphones!!! Which means I can hear the television at whatever volume I want and, this being the cream of the crop, whatever distance I want. And if there are those of you out there who are thinking, meh, I could think up better gifts, then you were not part of the group of girls who had to listen to me whine about being unable to watch DVDs if they had no or bad subtitles because I watch TV with pretty much no volume on (The Buzz and The Bear alike are light sleepers whereas I sleep like the very contented dead).


Hence, couple my love for watching DVDs with the only available time of day when I can watch it i.e. when The Bear is asleep, and my dear readers you will find the wireless headphones a very savvy gift indeed. I broke them in watching Inside Man and marvelled at the fact that I didn't need to decrease the volume in a panic every time something loud went on.
